We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring activities through surveillance systems, conducting patrols, and enforcing security protocols. This role is vital in maintaining a safe environment and preventing loss or damage to property. Prior experience in law enforcement or security is preferred, along with familiarity with CCTV systems and loss prevention techniques.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular patrols of the facility to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks. Monitor surveillance cameras (CCTV) to observe activity and detect suspicious behavior. Enforce security policies and procedures to ensure the safety of all personnel and visitors. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, including providing assistance as needed. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes. Assist with loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or vandalism attempts. Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary. Control access points by verifying credentials and issuing visitor passes.

Experience

Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is advantageous. Knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and monitoring techniques. Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and procedures. Strong observational skills with the ability to recognize potential threats quickly. Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and professionally. Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
