Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to maintain a safe and secure environment at our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring premises, preventing loss, and ensuring the safety of personnel and property. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observation skills, and the ability to respond effectively to security incidents. Prior experience in law enforcement or surveillance is a plus, but not mandatory. The Security Guard will play a crucial role in safeguarding assets through vigilant surveillance and proactive loss prevention measures.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks Monitor security cameras (CCTV) to oversee activity within and around the facility Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, following established protocols Maintain detailed logs of security incidents, observations, and patrol activities Enforce company policies and procedures related to safety and security Assist visitors and employees by providing directions or information as needed Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services during incidents or investigations Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage

Requirements

Prior experience in law enforcement, security, surveillance, or related fields is preferred Knowledge of CCTV operation and surveillance techniques Strong observational skills with attention to detail Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and accurately Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Physical fitness to perform patrol duties and respond quickly when necessary Must be able to pass background checks and any required training certifications
