Event Sales Manager
Sandman Signature Dartmouth Hotel & Suites

We are looking for a talented Event Sales Manager to promote our new and exciting property with six thousand square feet of event space. If you are interested in organizing events and increasing sales with one of Canada\'s fastest growing hospitality groups - this is the role for you!

As an Event Sales Manager your responsibilities will include developing client relationships, attracting new business and creating a high level of communication surrounding the details of the events with the on-site operational teams. You will collaborate directly with talented chefs, the General Managers, Director of Banquets, and restaurant leaders as well as the hotel division.

THE ROLE:

• Maintain and create client relationships, including event quotes and accounts management
• Achieve sales targets
• Prepare event order quotes for clients
• Work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Entrepreneurial spirit is a definite asset
• Actively pursue leads and new market segments
• Work seamlessly with sales team regarding conference quotes and requests for proposals
• Attend weekly event meetings with the Chef and on-site Managers to ensure culinary excellence and exceptional guest experience
