Realscape Productions - Experience Supervisor - Downtown Toronto

Join Realscape Productions on the second stop of our Canadian tour in Downtown Toronto to present two multi-sensory DARKFIELD experiences - taking place inside purpose-built shipping containers where, using binaural audio, sensory deprivation and special effects, DARKFIELD audiences are placed centre of a narrative completely at odds with the space it occupies.

Realscape Productions are international producers specialising in immersive, site-specific productions and interactive events. Currently touring the DARKFIELD experiences in Canada, the USA, Australia, and New Zealand. We foster a team culture that is collaborative, supportive, and enjoyable.

EXPERIENCE SUPERVISOR

The experience supervisor has overall responsibility for the efficient operation, staff wellbeing and health and safety of our Realscape Productions experiences - DARKFIELD at STACKT Market. The position requires persons with strong leadership, interpersonal and communicative skills, and a general interest/eagerness for the arts. Applicants should have at least two years of management and leadership experience within an arts organisation or the events industry. They should also be ready to start this position immediately.

PLEASE NOTE: this is a site/event role and applicants should have relevant experience - we are not looking for collaborators/performers to work on current or upcoming projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee daily operations and uphold health, safety and wellbeing standards. Lead and motivate a small onsite team to deliver world-class immersive experiences. Ensure all experiences run according to specification with meticulous attention to details. Manager onsite ticketing and customer service cross-platform messaging systems. Respond quickly and calmly to operational challenges. Maintain regular communication with the remote leadership team. General tech maintenance of the experiences

SEASON OVERVIEW

Our Toronto season opened four weeks ago and tickets have just been released, due to popular demand, until the 30th November with opportunities explored until January.

You should have availability from 4pm Tues-Fri and from 12pm Sat-Sun with good availability over the Christmas and New Year We are looking for someone who could start this role immediately.

It is important that you review Realscape's website before submitting your CV. Shows occur inside 40ft shipping containers for 20-25mins in total darkness and you must experience both shows as part of your training.
