HealHER is a first-of-its-kind, one-day transformational conference created by EmpowHERto for BIPOC young women ages 17-21. Focused on identity, mental wellness, relationships, and self-worth, HealHER provides a safe and inspiring space for young women to grow, connect, and thrive.
We are seeking a passionate and organized
Volunteer Event Manager
to help us bring HealHER 2025 to life. This role is perfect for someone who loves event planning, wants to build leadership experience, and cares about creating impactful spaces for young women.
What You'll Do (10 hours per week)
Help plan and coordinate all aspects of the HealHER Conference, from logistics to program flow.
Support with scheduling speakers, facilitators, and breakout room leads.
Assist with vendor coordination (venue, catering, decor, AV).
Collaborate with our marketing team to promote the event.
Manage event timelines and keep the team on track with key deliverables.
Recruit and guide volunteers leading up to and during the event.
Be part of the day-of execution: ensuring everything runs smoothly and participants have an unforgettable experience.

Previous event planning experience is a bonus, but not required!
