  • Delivery Management functions within the build mandate to co-ordinate and drive deployment- related activities;
  • Structured focus on project delivery to implement deliverables for their respective and specialized areas of infrastructure build; and
  • Specialized Services functions that provision contact center infrastructure and network-related infrastructure work for Real Estate and/or Branch environments, hardware assets etc.

Job Requirements

MUST HAVE:

8.) Event management experience - 2 years
9.) Technical skills - virtual event center experience is great with platforms such as Webex, MS Teams, Outlook Mail, SharePoint

1.) Experience with using WebEx
2.) Technical support (basic trouble shooting)
3.) Visio Experience (to build process documents)

SUMMARY OF DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The event coordinators prime function is to coordinate for virtual events events at TD for both Canada and the US.
Your job is to facilitate the coordination of events by working with several business lines to ensure events are scheduled, monitored and successfully delivered to our colleagues. You will also support and enable meetings, provide remote support and the setup and coordination of virtual meetings. Your role will also require work to standardize an Enterprise Event model service. You will administer, configure and operate systems supporting the various spaces. You will ensure support and maintenance are completed. People will use terms like 'guru', 'master', and 'Jedi'!

You are capable, knowledgeable, professional, and can show grace under pressure when required. You think ahead and prevent issues but also remain calm in a crisis. People expect you to arrive early, double-check, and do what it takes. Success means preventing disaster and rescuing the ill-prepared! Your explanations put presenters at ease and your sense of humor dissolves stress. People ask for you by name because your reputation precedes you. Responsibilities
  • Seamless event management and support for our business lines, could require onsite support in rare cases
  • Prepare and prevent technical and presentation issues (proactive) build out a standards for the team to follow for seamless event coordination
  • Manage and Resolve technical issues (reactive) working with various teams
  • Collaborate with colleagues, vendors, support teams, etc.
  • Communicate based on your audience (all levels from entry to CEO)
  • Develop and expand technical skills (e.g. IP Networks, Conferencing software,etc.). Create standard process to build out an Enterprise model, driving change
  • Coordinate with vendors, line of business and operational support teams
Success in this role: Ability to communicate effectively, organize, schedule, document, track, standardize the way in which event planning takes place while support daily events. Looking for opportunities to improve the process and events for our colleagues. Technical background in Audio Visual is an asset but not a requirement.

Experience & Knowledge
Ideally, you have...
  • Managed Events in an AV technology support role
  • Managing and coordinating with 3rd party vendors (Encore, EL, Resolve, etc)
  • Coordinating and scheduling events experience
  • Experience with Webex & MS TEAMs Meetings is an asset
  • Events management and troubleshooting
  • Customer service experience and support
  • Project management experience is an asset
  • An understanding of Audio/Video and TelePresence technology
  • Experience with virtual meeting technology (ie: Cisco WebEx)
  • Technical experience is an asset (AV vendor technologies, Basic IP networking, wireless technologies
- Event planning and conferencing for TD
- Coordinate with event planners for large scale events
- Coordination around virtual events - planning the date
- Not doing the facilitation but have the platform and assistance in case the event planner needs help/support
- Need help on how to document process and new requirements so
- Build out processes and procedures on how to put on an event
- 100% virtual events right now

- WebEx (large events), MS Teams, some 3rd party vendors (on 24, stream me)
- SharePoint, MS suites (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
