The Event Coordinator is responsible for securing, increasing and coordinating Resort-wide event bookings. This role focuses on developing strong relationships with corporate clients, managing event logistics, and ensuring a seamless execution of events. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, detail-oriented, professional with a passion for event planning, client care and business development.
? Oversee all aspects of event planning and execution, ensuring all client needs and event requirements are anticipated and confirmed.
? Coordinate with internal departments (Food & Beverage, Hotel management, Technical Services, Property Maintenance, Security and Casino) to meet event requirements.
? Ensure accurate and timely communication of event details with clients and team members.
? Maintain detailed event records, contracts, and invoices.
? Provide on-site support for corporate events, ensuring a seamless experience.
Business Development:
? Actively identify and pursue corporate clients for meetings, conferences, retreats, and special events.
? Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and local businesses.
? Assist in receiving inbound calls and finalizing booking process for event requirements.
? Develop customized event packages and proposals to meet client needs.
? Work closely with the Sales Coordinator to convert leads into confirmed bookings. Upsell event offerings increasing Food & Beverage, Cultural and A/V revenues.
? Conduct site tours and presentations for potential bookings.
? Stay informed on industry trends and competitor offerings to enhance sales strategies.
? Actively identify live performance acts and promoters and assist in securing bookings
? Other tasks / duties as directed; support sales and marketing coordination in his/her absence.

Qualifications & Experience:
? Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, Event Management, or a related field preferred.
? 2+ years of experience in corporate event planning, sales, or hospitality.
? Strong understanding of corporate event needs and venue sales strategies.
? Proficiency in CRM software, event management tools, and Microsoft Office.
? Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
? Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
? Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
