Must be available until 9:00pm daily and full-time hours.

Previous Supervisor experience is required.

Job Overview


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily operations within our restaurant or hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, extensive food industry knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves supervising staff, managing food preparation and safety standards, and ensuring smooth restaurant operations during assigned shifts. A background in restaurant management, food service, or hospitality is preferred, along with experience in team management and customer relations.

Responsibilities



Supervise daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and high-quality service Lead and motivate team members, including interviewing, training, and evaluating staff performance Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling to maintain safety and quality standards Manage POS systems for order processing and cash handling accurately Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation procedures Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and proper kitchen workflow Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed Enforce restaurant policies, health codes, and safety procedures Assist in opening or closing the restaurant as required

Skills



Proven experience in food service, restaurant management, or hospitality industries Strong leadership skills with prior supervising or team management experience Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally Ability to oversee food industry operations including serving, barista tasks, and kitchen activities Experience in interviewing prospective employees and conducting staff training sessions Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate a team in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of hotel or bar management experience is a plus but not required Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in food safety and service quality

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
