OVERALL DESCRIPTION:



To enthusiastically and efficiently serve both internal and external customers in person, over the phone, by fax and through email. To strive to exceed each customers expectations. Work is performed at both 1407 Dugald (Dynamic Fluid Power) from 11:30am - 8pm

MAJOR WORK ACTIVITIES:



A. To greet all internal (service, engineering and outside sales) and external customers in a friendly and professional manner. Customers should be greeted immediately when at the counter, in the showroom or at the divider to the service area.

B. To accurately fulfill all internal and external customers needs in a timely and professional manner. If there is a lineup, assistance should be requested or offered.

C. Exceed customer expectations by exploring options to acquire the material they request, when we do not have the stock available. If still unable to fulfill needs, suggest a special order.

D. Respond in a timely matter (usually within an hour) when fulfilling a faxed purchase order with the appropriate follow up.

E. Routinely follow up on all Work Orders with internal customers on the status of their parts. Use tools available such as setting reminders to ensure follow up.

F. Advise the purchaser of any rush special orders to ensure the customers time lines are met.

G. Maintain a good working knowledge of Windward, PHConnect and Topz.

H. Keep up to date with all suppliers catalogues and materials to be able to reference and order effectively for customers.

I. Assist other team members when time permits including making hoses, shipping or receiving, locating hard to find parts, stocking shelves, etc

Communicates clearly in written and oral form. Written communication takes place in all faxes, messages, memos and e-mail. Oral communication takes place during conversations with staff and customers

Familiar with your PC Workstation, Windward, PHConnect and Topz

4. Decision Making and Problem Solving Skills



Interpreting company policy for customers and staff, solving significant technical problems for customers and staff as demand requires.

5. Organizational Skills



Organizing and implementing membership product training, product and policy development, upgrades and testing of AXIS membership module releases, and implementing new membership products.

6. Knowledge of Dynamic Fluid Power



Knowledge of all products, policies, services. Requires working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems to be able to advise and assist customers as required. When personal knowledge is not enough, assistance must be requested from others in the department to satisfy the customers needs.
