Caffe Fantastico is an established independent, quality focused and family owned coffee roastery, restaurant and event space with three bustling locations in Victoria. We are hiring for an

Evening Music Host and Supervisor/ Event Coordinator/Server/Barista

to join our team. This position is to further support the growth of evening events, including hosting guests, hosting musicians, room and stage set-up as well as scheduling all community and musical events at our roastery location.

This position works with fellow baristas and servers to create and maintain the Caffe Fantastico experience for customers, artists and our team during evening and event service.

We believe that each person who works with Caffe Fantastico contributes to our rich culture and positive work environment by creating unforgettable guest experiences in both customer service and coffee preparation.

This is a full time, long-term position, 4-5 afternoons and evenings per week, with closing shifts finishing between 8-10pm. Schedule will include Thursday / Friday / Saturday evenings, with remainder of schedule open for discussion and will include some admin time for scheduling and communicating event details

Wage of $22/hr plus employee handled tips currently providing $6-$10/hr on top. Evening table service for food, craft beer, local wine, and the finest specialty coffee is the perfect platform to grow tips further.

Our ideal candidate is outgoing, enthusiastic and keen to host with a high level of professionalism. Great communication and organization skills to be able to set up and manage 3-4 events weekly. Customer service / food service experience required. Barista / bartender / events / music experience an asset. This is a perfect position for someone with an active interest in music and the arts, with a focus to manage fun events while ensuring safe and smooth service.
