Belleville's is looking for an experienced and talented person to help lead our kitchen team in coordination with our Chefs.
This role is for experienced cooks looking to further develop their leadership skills in a high volume environment. Belleville's is a fast-paced scratch kitchen, providing exceptional food service is our key priority as our volume is almost entirely based on in-house customers. We pride ourselves on fostering an inclusive environment that is fun and fast paced.
Responsibilities:
*Call line and coordinate service with on duty managers and expos
*Ensure all menu items are prepared to quality standards and sent within a timely matter
*Assist with food preparation
*Monitor the quality of food received into and leaving the kitchen and ensure proper standards of food rotation and storage are met
*Manage line cooks and delegate tasks where appropriate
*Coordinate with management on all aspects of kitchen roles
*Delegate cleaning tasks and assign stations to line cooks when neccessary
*Monitor par levels, temperature checks and line checks
