Job Posting: Seasonal Security Officer - Fundy National Park
Commissionaires NB & PEI Division is currently recruiting a Security Officer for a casual seasonal position (May to October) at Fundy National Park in Alma, NB.
Hours: 8- hour evening shifts, 6pm to 2am, over 7day rotating schedule Rate of Pay: $16.96 per hour Language Requirement: Bilingual (French/English) highly sought
The Role: The Security Officer is responsible to enforce established rules and regulations to ensure the protection of people and property within the campgrounds at Fundy National Park.
We are seeking candidates with:
- excellent communication skills
- a positive, proactive, problem solving approach to tasks
- physical fitness to perform rounds in all types of environmental conditions
- a valid Drivers? License
- Clean criminal record required ? including Vulnerable Sector
- Current First Aid/CPR Certificate
The successful candidate must be able to:
- demonstrate sound judgement in addressing conflict situations
- react quickly and appropriately in shifting situations
- obtain necessary security clearance (PSPC Reliability)
- successfully complete Commissionaires? Training courses
Designated Veteran status considered an asset.
