Job Description

Globus Theatre is a professional theatre company in Bobcaygeon. We are looking for a Box Office Assistant during our busy fall season! The box office assistant will report to the General Manager and will be expected to work in the theatre and box office location in Bobcaygeon. Evening availability is necessary with occassional weekends for this position.

Responsibilities:

Customer Service: In-person ticket sales as well as inbound and outbound phone calls. Processing cash, debit and credit card transactions and balancing deposits. Operating computerized ticketing systems and ensuring all account data is captured accurately in Tixhub. Providing information about all products and services available at Globus Theatre. Adhering to all ticketing policies and procedures Checking voicemail daily and delivering messages to colleagues on time. Assist with junior marketing duties such as online events listings, poster distribution, and email lists.

Selection Criteria

Excellent written and communication skills Customer Service experience High level of computer literacy
Hours: Tuesday - Saturday | 5pm-8pm + some, Saturday & Sunday afternoons
