Children's Activity Animator - Scratch & Robotics Specialist (Part-Time)

Location: Montreal, West Island & Laval

We specialize in delivering engaging after-school and lunchtime activities in coding, robotics, arts, LEGO, sports, and more. We are currently looking for passionate and reliable

Scratch and Robotics (EV3)

instructors to join our team of activity animators for the 2025-2026 school year.

What We're Looking For:

We're hiring

specialized animators with experience in teaching Scratch 3.0 and LEGO EV3 Robotics

to lead after-school and lunch hour activities across schools in Montreal, Laval, and the West Island.
This role is ideal for someone who loves working with kids, has strong classroom presence, and enjoys making tech come alive for young learners.

Position Details:

Type:

Contract position (part-time)

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, between

12:00 PM - 6:00 PM

(Minimum 4 days/week of availability required. We build your schedule based on your availability.)

Start Date:

September 2025

Compensation:

$20-$40/hour, depending on contract and experience

Travel:

Must have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle (materials transportation and travel to schools required)

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver fun, structured 1-hour coding and robotics sessions using Scratch 3.0 and LEGO EV3 Set up and transport materials for each activity Supervise and manage groups of children (ages 5-12) Ensure safety protocols are followed Build strong relationships with schools and students Handle basic classroom management and provide First Aid when needed (training can be provided)

Requirements:

Age 18+

Fluent in French and English (bilingual required)

Comfortable teaching

Scratch 3.0

and

LEGO EV3

(other platforms an asset) Previous experience with children (camp, teaching, tutoring, etc.) Available a minimum of 4 weekdays (between 12-6 PM) Responsible, punctual, and adaptable Access to vehicle & valid driver's license Enthusiastic, outgoing, and passionate about tech education

Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour
