Children Animators - Specialized After School Activities

Animation KIDZ is company that specialize in children's programming. We provide specialized activities (robotics, coding, arts, woodburning, lego, sports, etc.) for children ages 5 to 12. We aim to make it as fun as possible for both the children and the animator.

Please note that we are looking for serious applicants only who would like part time work and have access to a vehicle. Must speak French.

Position Information:

Location: Montreal, West-Island, and Laval (must be able to commute to any of these areas) Time: Monday to Friday 12pm to 6pm for after school, lunch, and other programs. We work around your availability but must be available at least 4 days per week. This position is contract work. More details provided during hiring process. Contractual salary: $20-55 per hour depending on the contract. Looking for people with access to vehicle and license (to transport the materials and to commute to the locations) The position consists of providing a minimum of 1 hour long activities for the children. Training is provided Possibility to do other events or programs (ped days, birthday parties, etc.)

Responsibilities

Follow safety protocols Organize activities Supervision of group Administer First Aid Discipline children when necessary

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of age Bilingual (English/French) (must be fluent in both languages) License and access to a vehicle Available minimum 4 days per week between 12pm and 6pm. Childcare experience (babysitting, camp, education) Experience in arts, sports, or stem

Skills:

Ability to work independently and work with a team Sense of responsibility Punctuality Ability to adapt Energetic and enthusiastic Interact with children

Assets:

First Aid Certification (will be required to get once hired) Robotics or coding experience (Mindstorms, EV3, Scratch)
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: $20.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 6 per week
