Job Description

Position: ETL/Power BI Analyst
Location: Toronto, (hybrid role, once a week on-site)
Job Type: Contract to Permanent (after 3 months potential transfer to a permanent basis)

One of our clients is looking for an ETL/BI Analyst that will join the organization on a 3-month contract that will be transferred to a permanent role.

Requirements:

- A proven track record of strong working experience in ETL and developing SSIS, SSAS cubes, and data marts
- Proficient SQL programming skills to effectively manipulate and manage data within the data warehouse
- Experience in dashboard development using Business Intelligence (BI) tools, with a preference for expertise in Power BI
- In-depth knowledge of data modeling and database development, enabling the design and expansion of the data warehouse
- Expertise in troubleshooting ETL issues, ensuring smooth data integration and accuracy
- Demonstrated data analysis and reporting capabilities, producing valuable insights for business decision-making
- At least 3 to 5 years of progressive work experience in BI development, SQL programming, and reporting and analytics
- Undergraduate Degree or Diploma in Health/Child Welfare Administration, Information Management, Math/Statistics, Business Administration, Software Development, or a related discipline
- Additional experience or knowledge in data visualization tools such as Tableau or QlikView
