We are looking for an

Estimator/Project Manager

to join our sales team. You might also call this role an Inside Salesperson.

Your day to day as the

"Estimator" would involve:

Working with the Outside Salespeople on projects that our customers have asked us to build for them, creating the detailed specifications for those projects, Working with manufacturing department supervisors and designers within the company to estimate the cost of those projects and converting those estimated costs into formal quotations for the customers.
But that's not all, after the customer awards us that job that you just quoted, you put on the other hat that your job requires and become the

"Project Manager" for that project. Which means:

You must create a shopping list for our purchasers to start buying the required materials, You need to work with the designers to get the manufacturing drawings just right, You need to monitor and inspect the project for accuracy throughout the manufacturing process and, You need to keep your outside sales partner up to date at every step along the way.
At any given time, you are going to have several estimates on your to-do pile and several projects on the go in the plant, so you need to be organized and able to change hats several times throughout the day, and because most of the work we do is custom, no two days in this job are the same.
