Adecco is actively seeking a skilled Estimator to join our client's growing team in Winnipeg, MB. The successful candidate will play a key role in project planning and execution, providing accurate and comprehensive estimates that support the successful delivery of various construction projects. This role requires a strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple bids while maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and external partners. Responsibilities:

• Establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with subcontractors, consultants, clients, and project teams.
• Staying informed about current marketplace trends and developing strategic, competitive bids.
• Collaborating with the estimating team to develop schedules, budgets, and select qualified subcontractors.
• Conducting risk assessments and identifying opportunities for increased profitability.
• Reviewing and interpreting tender and contract documents, specifications, and drawings.
• Managing bid invitations, responding to inquiries, and maintaining communication throughout the tendering process.
• Preparing clear, organized, and accurate estimates for Stipulated Sum, Design-Build, and Construction Management projects.
• Maintaining a pricing database for materials and labour.
• Supporting and participating in post-bid reviews.

Requirements:

• Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
• A post-secondary degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in the construction industry.
• Strong communication skills-both written and oral.
• Exceptional organizational skills and an ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
• A professional and confident demeanour with a strong relationship-building approach.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel, Bluebeam, and Smartbid.
• Experience with Procore software (an asset, but not required).
