We are a construction and development company seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Estimator

to join our dynamic pre-construction team in Surrey.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for residential and commercial construction projects Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates Solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers Develop and maintain databases of costs and pricing structures Work closely with Project Managers, Architects, and Engineers to refine project scopes and budgets Prepare and present cost reports to management and clients Assist in value engineering and cost-saving strategies Monitor actual costs against estimates during project execution
Job Requirements:

3+ years of estimating experience in the construction industry, preferably in residential or mixed-use developments Strong understanding of construction drawings, building codes, and construction processes Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Sage Estimating, or similar) Excellent numerical, analytical, and organizational skills Strong communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is an asset
Benefits:
