We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring that all aspects of the project are considered. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, pricing strategies, and project management to effectively contribute to our company's success.

Duties

Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates. Utilize software tools such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid for efficient estimating processes. Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate project scopes. Conduct negotiations with vendors and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing. Monitor project costs throughout the lifecycle to ensure adherence to budgets. Prepare detailed reports and presentations on estimates for review by management. Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and pricing changes that may impact estimates.

Skills

Proficiency in construction estimating software, particularly Bluebeam and HeavyBid. Strong negotiation skills to effectively manage vendor relationships. Excellent project management abilities to oversee multiple projects simultaneously. In-depth knowledge of construction processes and methodologies. Ability to analyze data and provide accurate pricing estimates based on market trends. Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills.
