Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the restoration & construction process by accurately assessing project costs and providing essential data for project management. This position requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in restoration estimating software, and the ability to negotiate effectively with vendors and clients.

Responsibilities

Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates. Utilize Xactimate software to create detailed estimates for various restoration projects. Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate pricing and resource allocation. Prepare reports that outline estimated costs and project timelines. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and pricing. Assist in the development of project budgets and financial forecasts. Review bids from subcontractors and suppliers for accuracy and completeness.

Skills & Requirements

5 years of experience in restoration &/or construction. Proficiency in estimating software. Experience in restoration estimating with a solid understanding of building processes. Competence in using multiple applications for document management and collaboration. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for precise cost estimation. Strong communication skills. Class 5 Drivers License and personal vehicle to be used for work IICRC tickets preferred Clean criminal record
