We are a Prime Mechanical Contractor based in the construction industry that handles Plumbing and Gasfitting in Residential, Commercial, Light Industrial and Service work. Civic Mechanical is looking to hire an estimator to join the team! Estimating of commercial, residential, and service plumbing projects
- Blueprint analysis
- Researching, sourcing, negotiating, and obtaining the best pricing and quotes from suppliers/subcontractors
- Analyzing data that can affect construction costs ie. Exchange rates, productivity.
- Ordering of long lead items on awarded projects
- Reviewing estimates with project teams
- Liaising with clients and suppliers
- Assessing financial, technical, and operational risks associated with construction projects
- Staying up to date with current codes, technologies, and legislative requirements
- Keeping detailed records associated with estimates
- Input of projects being bid or tendered
- Dental care

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- LACOMBE, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
