As a Sales Consultant, you will play a key role in connecting with clients, understanding their vision, and providing accurate project estimates while delivering exceptional customer service. Sales & Lead Generation:Client Relationship Building
: Establish and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients, including homeowners, designers, contractors, and architects, to understand their needs and ensure repeat business.
Product Knowledge and Expertise
: Be highly knowledgeable about the company's products, materials, finishes, and design options to confidently present tailored solutions that meet the client's vision and functional needs.
Consultative Selling
: Work closely with clients to understand their design goals, offer expert advice, and provide customized solutions, guiding them through the entire selection process from concept to installation.
Sales Presentations and Proposals
: Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations, showcasing the company's cabinetry, design capabilities, and craftsmanship, while tailoring proposals to the specific needs of each client.
Sales Pipeline Management
: Manage a pipeline of leads, follow up on prospective sales, track project progress, and maintain consistent communication with clients throughout the sales process to ensure conversions and meet sales targets.
Coordination with Production and Installation Teams
: Ensure smooth communication between the client, design team, and production/installation teams, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of craftsmanship.
Customer Service and Problem Solving
: Address any client concerns or issues promptly, offering creative solutions and ensuring complete customer satisfaction, from initial inquiry through to project completion.
Market Research and Networking
: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and new product innovations, while actively networking with industry professionals to generate new business opportunities.
Sales Reporting and Documentation
: Maintain accurate sales records, track performance metrics, and report regularly to management on sales targets, project status, and client feedback.
: Provide precise and detailed estimates for custom cabinetry projects, including materials, labor, and overhead costs. Ensure all quotes align with project scope and client expectations.
Collaboration with Design Team
: Work closely with designer to ensure that estimates reflect the design intent and budget constraints, adjusting for any changes or upgrades during the project.
Material and Vendor Sourcing
: Source high-quality materials, obtain quotes from suppliers, and negotiate prices to ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality.
Site Assessments and Measurements
: Conduct site visits to take accurate measurements and assess project requirements, ensuring that all necessary adjustments are made for proper fit and functionality.
Project Timeline Management
: Monitor and adjust project timelines based on client needs and changes in scope, ensuring that estimates reflect realistic completion dates and milestones.
Updating Estimates and Tracking Changes
: Continuously update project estimates as changes occur throughout the project lifecycle, providing clients with transparent cost adjustments and ensuring adherence to budgets.
Client Communication and Relationship Management
: Communicate directly with clients to clarify project details, answer questions, and ensure satisfaction with both the estimate and final results.
Maintaining Budget Accuracy
: Track costs during the project, identify potential overruns, and provide timely adjustments to the budget, ensuring financial accountability and profitability.What We're Looking For:
Self-starter with a strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
At ease with making cold calls and identifying new business opportunities.
Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
A passion for design, particularly in custom cabinetry.
Previous sales or customer service experience is a must!
