Duties

Provide a wide range of esthetic services including facials, dermabrasion, dermal fillers, Botox treatments, eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair threading, and makeup application to enhance clients' natural beauty. Perform advanced treatments such as laser skin therapy, esthetic laser treatments, and tattoo removal with precision and care. Conduct consultations to assess clients' skin conditions and recommend personalized treatment plans tailored to their goals. Manage retail sales by recommending skincare products and beauty supplies through effective upselling and product demos. Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by adhering to all health regulations and sanitation protocols to ensure client safety. Utilize salon management software such as Millennium or MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client records, and treatment documentation. Engage actively with clients via social media management to promote services, share before-and-after photos, and build lasting relationships. Assist at the front desk with guest services including check-in/check-out procedures, answering inquiries, and scheduling appointments efficiently. Stay updated on the latest industry trends in color theory, nail care, hair styling, barbering techniques like straight razor shaves, and new esthetic innovations to continually enhance service offerings. Support team collaboration by participating in product demos and training sessions to expand your skill set in areas like Med Spa procedures or advanced body treatments.

Requirements

Valid cosmetology or esthetician license recognized by state licensing boards; additional certifications in botulinum toxin treatment or dermal fillers are highly desirable. Proven experience in providing facial treatments, body waxing, eyelash extensions, nail care, hair styling, hair extensions, and other esthetic services within a salon or med spa setting. Familiarity with salon software such as Millennium or MINDBODY for booking and client management. Strong management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy environment while maintaining excellent guest service standards. Knowledge of sanitation protocols aligned with health regulations to ensure a safe treatment environment. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate clients about skincare routines and product recommendations confidently. Experience with social media management tools for marketing purposes is a plus. Ability to perform advanced treatments like dermabrasion or dermal fillers confidently if certified; previous med spa experience is preferred but not required. Passion for continuous learning about new techniques such as esthetic laser treatments or tattooing trends that can elevate client satisfaction.
