Hi! We're looking for a certified esthetician or certified waxer to join us at our downtown Vancouver esthetics + wellness studio. We are a small team of three open-minded, kind-hearted women looking for someone that shares our passion for wellness to join our work-fam. Our studio has a reputation of providing quality services and we are known as Vancouver's best Brazilian wax. We offer wellness services for body + spirit such as detox programs, frequency therapy, tarot readings, reiki, lymphatic drainage massage, aromatherapy massage, custom skin treatments and carry a range of products in our retail store that promote a holistic + healing lifestyle.

From day one we have always maintained a very high sterilization standard above industry requirements. Maintaining a clean environment is very important. All our technicians go through training before working with our clients. We strive to maintain quality across the board and train each staff member to ensure our standards are met by everyone in order to proudly maintain our status as Vancouver's top-reputed waxing + wellness studio.

For our waxing services you will be working with a combination of hard-wax and strip-wax and working with our lovely and inspiring clientele of all genders.

We are looking for someone who has:
- experience working on clients in the aesthetics industry.
- strong in problem-solving using life experience and common-sense. We are all pretty autonomous workers here.
- a people-person and able to adapt to all personality types.
- prioritization: ability to organize what needs to be done and in order.
- initiative: identify tasks that need to be done and keep busy. If all tasks are done, taking action to create a project you are interested in that will help the shop grow.
- great communication: ability to speak, read and write in English.
- ability to adapt to change, and think of ways to improve /grow the environment around them.
- positivity, enthusiasm and all around good vibes. We are not an environment for drama + gossip.

Duties will include but not limited to:
- reviewing your clients' consultation forms.
- sessions w clients: waxing, skin treatments. wellness sessions if you have an interest in learning them or do them already :)
- completing daily tasks such as: cleaning and sterilizing your treatment room, re-stocking your room, cleaning and organizing the shop during downtime.
- care in the quality of your work-results and care in the customer service you're providing
- providing professionalism and QUALITY in the experience you offer your clients from start to finish by using detailed care throughout your work.
- someone who cares that their clients always feel comfortable.

We are looking for someone who is available on Saturdays 10am-6pm.

Vancouver and surrounding area-residing candidates only.
Must be legally allowed to work in Canada.
