The Esthetician Open Spa Instructor provides leadership, mentorship, and supervision to students completing their work-integrated learning experience in our on-campus spa. This role ensures that students are supported in applying classroom knowledge to real-world salon experiences, developing technical proficiency, professionalism, and client service skills. The Open Spa Instructor collaborates with faculty, spa partners, and students to create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment that aligns with program outcomes and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise and evaluate students during work integrated learning in onsite spa, ensuring alignment with program outcomes Provide mentorship for both technical and employability skills related to spa operations Collaborate with faculty, industry partners, and employers to maintain strong community connections and relevant job opportunities Model professionalism, client service, and workplace readiness in all instructional activities
Job Requirements

Esthetician diploma required Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the esthetics industry including spa ownership or management Previous teaching or mentor experience in an educational or a workplace setting preferred Strong knowledge of spa safety, client relations, and current industry trends Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment

This is a sessional part-time position that commences on November 24, 2025, and has an end date of December 12, 2025.
