Duties

Perform a variety of esthetic treatments including facials, dermabrasion, dermal fillers, Botox injections, laser treatments, body waxing, hair threading, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and nail care. Provide expert consultations to assess client needs and recommend appropriate skincare or cosmetic procedures. Manage appointment scheduling and client records using salon software such as Millennium and MINDBODY. Maintain high standards of sanitation and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Educate clients on skincare routines, product usage, and new service offerings through product demos and personalized advice. Upsell retail products effectively to enhance client results and satisfaction while supporting retail sales goals. Manage front desk responsibilities including guest services, appointment confirmations, and handling inquiries professionally. Assist in social media management by creating engaging content to promote services, special offers, and new treatments. Stay updated on industry trends such as hair styling techniques, color theory, barbering skills like straight razor shaving, and advanced esthetic procedures like tattooing or med spa treatments.

Skills

Licensed Cosmetologist or Esthetician with relevant certifications in dermal fillers, Botox treatment, laser therapy, or other advanced esthetic procedures. Strong management skills with experience using salon management software such as Millennium or MINDBODY. Proficiency in social media management for marketing purposes. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients. Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols within a spa or salon setting. Experience in retail sales techniques including upselling products and services. Skilled in makeup application, nail care, hair styling, hair extensions, eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair threading, dermabrasion, deep tissue massage techniques (if applicable), tattooing (if applicable), dermal fillers, Botox treatments, laser treatments (esthetic), straight razor shaving (barbering), and other beauty modalities. Ability to educate clients on skincare products and procedures while maintaining professionalism in a hospitality-oriented environment.
