We are looking for a people-focused, patient, professional esthetician to provide our residents with high-quality skin, hand and foot care.

This individual enjoys providing services to our older population, can communicate clearly, makes others feel comfortable, stays up-to-date on current trends and has high standards of cleanliness. This is a valuable role at our home, with many residents looking to book nail, facial and wax services in-house, so time management and organization are vital.

This is a service contract position, and clients can be charged based on the esthetician's rate card. Christie Gardens provides space in our Wellness Centre for the esthetician to see clients and we do not charge rent but will bill the residents and subtract an admin fee of 10%. Administrative assistance for scheduling appointments is provided by the Wellness Centre.

Services include:

Manicures Polish Application Polish Removal Pedicures Nail trim & exfoliation Wax Brow Tint Facials
Schedule:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday - either consistent mornings or consistent afternoons, plus one half day a week at our sister organization located nearby
Our ideal candidate:

Provides their own equipment and maintains a sanitary work environment Has their own insurance Has experience with older clients Provides high quality services Has excellent interpersonal skills
Mandatory requirements:

Cleared Vulnerable Sector Police Check Cleared TB Test Esthetician license
Process:

1) A brief initial phone call - This will last up to ten minutes and will involve questions about previous experience, how you handle certain situations and availability.
2) An in-person interview - This interview will last between 45 & 60 minutes.
3) References - A member of Human Resources will reach out to you for 2-3 references - current or previous managers/direct supervisors and clients
4) Contract offer

Wage range: $1,700 - $2,700 per month (depending on fee schedule and number of appointments)
