Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated ESL Teacher to join our dynamic teaching team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about language education, culturally responsive, and skilled in creating engaging, student-centered learning experiences for English language learners from diverse backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver interactive, communicative English lessons aligned with the school's curriculum and learning outcomes.
Design and implement daily lesson plans that address all language skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the varying needs and proficiency levels of students.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessments.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
Provide regular feedback to students and collaborate with academic staff to support student development.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
Support students with language learning strategies and academic guidance as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in TESOL, Education, English, Linguistics, or related field (required).
ESL teaching certification (TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, or equivalent) (required).
Minimum of 1 year of ESL teaching experience, preferably in an academic or language school setting.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work with international learners of all ages.
Tech-savvy and able to integrate digital tools into the classroom (preferred).
