Job Type:
Part-TimeResponsibilities:
Deliver English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction to adult learners. Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials. Monitor and assess student progress. Maintain records as required by the program.
Qualifications (must meet one of the following):
Certified by the Ontario College of Teachers and completed an additional qualification in ESL or FSL;
OR
Hold Teacher of English as a Second Language ("TESL") Ontario accreditation;OR
Hold the TESL Canada Professional Certificate Standard Three;OR
Completed an additional qualification in ESL or FSL as well as a post-secondary degree or diploma from: a degree-granting university in Canada or the United States;OR
the equivalent degree or diploma from an international university as evidenced in a documented credential assessment from an organization recognized by the Government of Ontario.Assets:
Experience teaching adults in a multicultural environment. Strong communication and organizational skills.
Compensation:
