The 'Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG)' Specialist is responsible for coordinating the company's environmental, social & corporate governance policies and procedures. This position reports to the Senior ESG Manager. The position will work closely with external and internal stakeholders to achieve the policy goals of Mondetta in regard to ESG best practices and standards.

Responsibilities




Leading B Corp(TM) certification process and requirements. This includes proactively engaging stakeholders to plan and implement changes proactively Maintaining and executing the Higg certifications (FEM, FSLM, BRM). This includes working with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Planning and coordinating the company's environmental improvement initiatives Planning and coordinating social activities related to community engagement & initiatives Coordinating research and stakeholder consultation on company's new ESG initiatives Monitoring the effectiveness of ESG compliance (Policies, Process, Procedures and Guidelines). Providing ESG oversight and compliance with all corporate activities Coordinating monthly ESG meetings, keeping website teams updated and conducting training for all stakeholders Working with ESG manager on carbon neutrality plan Working on science base target and tracking of Scope-1,2 & 3 emissions Responsible for tracking carbon accounting for GHG emissions Responsible for CDP filing and following net zero emissions plan for Mondetta Generating and communicating monthly ESG report as per the plan

Qualifications




Education:

Education in environmental engineering, environmental project management, environmental sciences, environmental law or relevant field required. Alternatively, relevant industry experience may be accepted

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience working with private sector firms (preferably apparel manufacturing and overseas production) to identify environmental/social risks and develop mitigation measures to ensure compliance with good international industry practice
