Escape Room Game Master (Part-Time)

Hours:

1 - 2 shifts per week (approximately 6 - 12 hours per week)

Working at Omventure, you will help create unforgettable, high-energy experiences for our guests. As a Game Master, you'll host escape room adventures, engage with a wide variety of customers, and play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service in a fun, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet all guests warmly and provide efficient, friendly check-in service Clearly explain escape room rules, themes, safety information, and backstories Host and monitor escape room games, track progress, and provide hints when appropriate Deliver engaging pre-game briefings and post-game wrap-ups to enhance the guest experience Make recommendations, assist with upselling, and promote current offers, add-ons, and merchandise Process payments accurately using POS systems and handle cash responsibly Reset escape rooms between games, ensuring props, puzzles, and technology are functioning correctly Identify and report technical issues, missing items, or room damage to management Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lobby, game rooms, storage areas, and washrooms Assist with managing bookings, waivers, and customer inquiries in person, by phone, and by email Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and emergency protocols Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned Represent Omventure in a positive and professional manner at all times

Qualifications:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (spoken and written English) Enthusiastic, outgoing, and customer-focused Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment Self-motivated and able to work independently without constant supervision Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Team-oriented with a positive attitude Previous customer service or sales experience is an asset

Availability Requirements:

Full availability for all weekend operating hours is required. If you are not fully available for our weekend operating you will not be considered. Employment is conditional on maintaining full weekend availability.

Fridays: 4:00pm - 12:00am Saturdays: 12:00pm - 12:00am Sundays: 12:00pm - 12:00am
Availability to work all statutory holidays is required. to work all statutory holidays. Employment is conditional on statutory holiday availability.

Training shifts are scheduled on weekdays, therefore some weekday availability is required during your first few weeks.
