Job Description

Exit Kamloops is looking for a friendly, part time, Escape Room Attendant. These positions is available for 5-20 hours weekly (can be flexible for the right candidates). Additionally these positions have the opportunity to develop into management positions, as all promotion is done from within.

*For these positions specifically we are looking for people available on weekdays between 1pm-12am, and Friday between 1pm-6pm, generally.

Open availability is an asset, but all availabilities are considered. As an Exit employee we require open availability on Saturday, although that does not mean you will be required to work every Saturday, just that we require you to be open to some. Otherwise we are flexible with scheduling.

Must be available to work some store operating hours like until close, from open, etc. Currently shifts are scheduled during the following hours; (These are not individual shift lengths, just the hours in which you could be scheduled for a period of time) Monday-Thursday 1:30pm-11:30pm, Friday 1:30pm-1:30am, Saturday 11:30am-1:30am, and Sunday 11:30am-11:30pm. Our store operating hours do change seasonally and we extend operating hours on holidays and stats.

Exit Kamloops is an escape room facility. An escape room is a physical adventure game in which players solve a series of puzzles and riddles using clues, hints and strategy to complete the objectives at hand. Players are given a set time limit to unveil the secret plot which is hidden within the rooms. Games are set in a variety of fictional locations, such as prison cells, dungeons and space stations, and usually the various puzzles and riddles themselves follow the theme of the room.

As an Escape Room Attendant efficient and respectful communications with customers is paramount.

Job tasks include but are not limited to:

-Delivering lock reviews and gameplay speeches
-Running hints
-Help with all customer concerns once the players are inside the rooms
-Responsible for resetting the rooms properly and efficiently after the player's time is up
-Process cash and interact.
-Maintaining theme quality and aesthetics.
-Building, creating and designing when new themes are produced.
-Store cleaning and organization, as well as closing and opening store procedures.
And much more!
Then during downtime you will be required to keep yourself busy with tasks and prop fixes among other things.
