Position Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to lead a variety of enterprise technology initiatives, with a primary focus on implementing new ERPs in our manufacturing facilities. Reporting to the IT Director, this person be responsible to orchestrate important IT initiatives including the definition of requirements with the help of business leaders, coordinating the internal and external resources mobilized on projects to achieve defined objectives, cost, schedule with success. This role will at first focus on deploying ERPs (one factory at a time) and eventually also cover other projects across infrastructure, software development, and cybersecurity. On all those projects, this role would be the central project leader, coordinating IT and non-IT resources.
Main responsibilities
Define detailed requirements lists in collaboration with a cross-functional team of business leaders and SMEs
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Define staffing strategy and identify resources required from external vendors to achieve successful rollout.
Coordinate project activities, resources, and deliverables to meet project goals, including internal and external team members.
Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather project requirements and ensure alignment among team members.
Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and status reports.
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Manages risks and develops procedures to identify, determine, and resolve integrity and complex issues.
Manage project scope, change requests, and risk mitigation strategies.
Coordinates and ensures sufficient testing with end-users.
Conduct stakeholder impact assessments and develop tailored communication and change management strategies.
Identify and manage resistance to change through proactive engagement of stakeholders and senior leaders.
Ensure alignment between project goals and organizational readiness to drive long-term value realization.
Mindset, Skills & Education
Project management expertise, knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies; PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification preferred.
Demonstrates personal ownership, and resilience in the face of challenges.
Analytical and detail-oriented, capable of managing complex projects with multiple dependencies and tight deadlines.
Technical proficiency in ERP systems (preferably D365), cloud platforms, and enterprise IT environments.
Experience with ERP migrations within a manufacturing environment.
Strategic thinking with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset and a passion for driving business value through technology.
Thrives in working across cross-functional teams, adopts a collaborative mindset.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Educational background in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (Bachelor's required).
Domestic and international travel may be required.
