Title: Project Manager (IT) - Senior
Location: Edmonton, Alberta, T6H 5T6 (Remote with 3-4 times per month travel)
Duration: 12 Months + 12 Months possible extensionDescription:

• Prosci change management certification or designation.
• Demonstrated experience working as a Change Manager on a large complex custom software application development project in an environment of similar size and complexity to the Government of Alberta. (3 years)
• Experience defining project scope and goals in collaboration with business stakeholders. (5 years)
• Experience in coaching teams on Agile methodologies, facilitating agile ceremonies, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration. (3 years)
• Experience in the development of business cases for a wide variety of initiatives and projects (strategic, business improvement, information technology, etc.). (5 years)
• Professional Licenses/Certification
• Currently active PMP or PGMP Certification as issued by the Project Management Institute or equivalent (attach a copy of the certificate).
• Experience conducting, facilitating and interpreting impact and risk assessments across multiple scenarios.5 years
• Experience creating and managing project forecast and actual budgets.5 years
• Experience developing project deliverables including project charters, business cases, briefing notes, status reports, risk logs and project closures. (5 years)
• Experience making decisions and recommendations on highly technical or complex issues without formal guidelines or precedents and exercises resourcefulness and ingenuity. (5 years)
• Experience managing multiple projects concurrently. (5 years)
