is a locally owned construction company operating in Atlantic Canada for over 40 years. We specialize in concrete restoration, specialty demolition, waterproofing systems, traffic deck membranes, and exterior building envelope repairs.
We are seeking an experienced
Equipment Operator
capable of safely and efficiently operating
skid steers, small- to medium-sized excavators, and telehandlers
on active construction and restoration sites. This role is for operators who can work independently, support crews, and adapt to changing site conditions.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Operate skid steers, excavators (small to medium size), and telehandlers
Perform precise machine work in tight restoration environments and around existing structures
Support concrete, demolition, and waterproofing crews with excavation, backfill, material handling, and debris removal
Load, unload, and organize materials and equipment
Install and remove attachments as required (buckets, breakers, forks, etc.)
Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues
Maintain safe working distances and situational awareness around workers and structures
Participate in toolbox talks, safe work plans, and site inspections
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
Assist with general site tasks as required when machines are idle
Requirements
Proven experience operating skid steers, excavators, and telehandlers
Ability to work independently without constant supervision
Strong understanding of safe machine operation on active construction sites
Comfortable working around people, structures, and live projects
Physically capable of supporting site work when required
Willingness to work 40+ hours per week, including occasional evenings or weekends
Ability to travel occasionally throughout the Maritimes
Valid driver's license is an asset
