Job Summary

We are currently seeking a skilled and safety-focused Equipment Operator to join our team working on projects in the Kitchener-Waterloo Region. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating a variety of heavy construction equipment and a strong commitment to safe work practices.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, backhoe, and compactors. Conduct daily inspections and perform routine maintenance to ensure equipment reliability. Identify and report mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly. Work closely with foremen, site supervisors, and team members to ensure project efficiency. Attend site meetings and communicate clearly to support smooth operations. Adhere strictly to safety standards, company policies, and project regulations.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment in civil construction environments. Proficiency in basic equipment maintenance and minor repairs. Strong understanding and adherence to safety protocols. Effective communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
