LB Paving part of the Terus Construction Ltd. group, is looking to hire Equipment Operators based in Smithers, BC.

Duties/Tasks

• Operate equipment on public roadways, maintaining proper awareness of ones surroundings
• Operate all heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner
• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment
• Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment, and clean, lubricate, and refill the equipment as necessary
• Maneuver heavy equipment into loading and unloading positions
• Must be willing to travel and work out town occasionally when required or necessary.

Requirements

• Have a Class 5 Driver License
• Pass a Drug Test
• Experience operating equipment in construction areas is preferred.
• Ability to perform manual labor.
• Must be able to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies.
• Work overtime as required.
• Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
