We are looking for an Equipment Operator to join our BC Eco team for our screening and chipping operations in Hinton, Alberta. • Wage is $30-35 per hour, depending on experience.
• Overtime pay after 8 hours
• 21 days on / 7 days off, monthly shifts, 12 hour days working with screening plant operators.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Wheel Loader: move material, feed into screening plant and load trucks.
• Power Screen: feed or move material into and away from screening plant.
• Excavator: feed material into screening plant and separate screened materials
• Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner, perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance.
• Operate other heavy equipment as required and instructed by site supervisors.
• Ability to travel to various job sites as required.
• Ensure company policies, core values and culture are being consistently upheld.
• General job set-up, site clean up, and materials removal.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLSAs a member of the BC Eco team, we expect you bring the following to the table:

• Minimum 2 years\' experience operating Wheel Loader or Excavator
• Experience working around screening plant would be an asset.
• Mechanical aptitude and capable of performing basic daily equipment maintenance.
• Motivated self-starter with positive attitude and proven safety record.
• Experience running other types of heavy equipment would be an asset.
• Valid Class 5 driver\'s licence.
• Physically fit and able to walk uneven ground, chip piles and log yard locations.
• Team player who is willing to pitch in wherever needed.
