Job Description

We are seeking Equipment Operators with 2+ years' experience operating excavators and dozers in a pipeline environment.
Please note this is a temporary position that is expected to start Sept 15th and will last until October 30th. The project is located in Hay River, Northwest Territories.
This is an LOA job.
What you'll be doing:
- Perform pre-operational routine inspections on equipment
- Soil leveling or ground manipulation
- Safe and efficient operation of equipment
- Identify safety risks and hazards on site
- Operate two-way radios and other means of communication
- Communicate/review hand signals with spotter
- Excavator Pipeline Experience and Pipeline Dozer / Clean up Experience
- Experience in operating excavators
- Have a great attitude and good safety record
- Able to handle and lift heavy objects up to 75lbs
- Can troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly and find solutions
- Can work independently and follow directions
- Have these safety tickets CSO, H2S Alive, First Aid
- Ground Disturbance certification

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of a drug and alcohol testing.
