- Utilize heavy equipment for excavation, grading, material handling and site preparation
- Operate heavy equipment in compliance with the company\'s operating safety policies and procedures.
- Load and unload equipment from vehicles and trailers.
- Ensure company equipment, material, and the work site are maintained, kept clean, and stored in a safe manner. Collect and dispose of scrap, excess materials, and refuse.
- Complete required paperwork, reporting, and other documentation.
- Positive Attitude, and able to work in a team environment
- Responsible for own transportation to and from the worksite or meeting location
- Relevant experience operating one or multiple pieces of equipment (excavators, skid steers, loaders)
- Understanding of and willingness to complete regular maintenance on equipment
- Demonstrated ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently
- Valid Drivers License
- Class 3A would be an asset
- Ability to operate multiple pieces of equipment would be an asset
- Dental care
- Extended health care
- French not required
- Monday to Friday
- Charlottetown, PE: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
- Skid Steer: 2 years (required)
