JobSummary

TheroleoftheProductionMechanicistoperformpreventiveandcorrectivemaintenanceonproductionequipment,coordinateandfollowuponassignedprojectactivities,whilecomplyingwithHSEregulations,GMPstandards,andotherapplicableguidelines,standards,andregulations.Therolealsoincludesusingmachinetoolstomanufactureorrepairprecisionparts.

2.MainResponsibilities

MaintenanceofEquipmentandMechanicalServices:

Performpreventiveandcorrectivemaintenanceonproductionequipment (manufacturingandpackaging). Completeallrequiredtasksaccordingtoserviceprioritieswhilerespectingapplicablestandards. Providetechnicalsupportforproductionequipmentandresolveoperationalissues. Informthedepartmentheadordelegateofanyissuesencounteredduringmaintenanceand/orprojects. Maintaintheautomaticpalletizingsystemthroughpreventiveandcorrectiveinterventions. Performpreventiveandcorrectivemaintenanceoncertainequipmentinotherdepartments (laboratory,warehouse). Performmechanicalmachining (repairand/ormanufacturing)andweldingtasks. UsetheSAPsystemforconsultation,planning,andworkorderconfirmation. Ensurecompliancewithdeadlinesandexecutionofworkordersundertheirresponsibility. Ensurecompliancewithqualityprocesses,GMP,andHSEduringequipmentmodifications. Respondto "client"requestsrelatedtomechanicalissueswithequipment. Maintainacleanandsafeworkarea,inaccordancewithGMPandoccupationalsafetyrequirements.

Projects:

Participateintheplanning,organization,andimplementationofprojectsrelatedtoproductionequipment (packagingandmanufacturing). Providesupportduringthestart-upandoperationofequipment. Coordinateandoverseeworkperformedbyexternalcontractorsrelatedtothepreventive/correctivemaintenanceofproductionequipment. CarryoutallassignedtasksrelatedtoequipmentvalidationinaccordancewithGMP,HSE,andotherspecificregulatoryrequirements.

RequiredKnowledgeandSkills

EducationalBackground:

CollegeDiploma (DEC)inIndustrialMaintenanceorElectromechanics

OR

VocationalDiploma (DEP)inMachiningTechniquescombinedwithstrongmechanicalaptitude

OR

Anequivalentcombinationofeducationandexperience.

Languages:

Frenchrequired,Englishisanasset

ExperienceandSpecializedKnowledge:

5to8yearsofmechanicalexperienceonproductionequipment (manufacturingandpackaging). ExperienceinmachiningandTIGwelding. KnowledgeofCanadianstandards. Experienceinthepharmaceuticalindustry.

SpecificTechnicalSkills:

Mechanical /Electromechanical Energyandfluids (air,water,etc.) HSE GMP Regulatoryknowledgeandequipment
