Cognizant Digital Engineering practice is looking to hire Experts in configuring equipments with solid experience working in close coordination with Customers in understanding the workflow of various research lab instruments, and addressing issues and concerns, resolving them promptly and efficiently.

Discovery & Preclinical CoE within Cognizant LS SG Practice caters to the needs of research labs and we enable functions pertaining to target identification, lead generation and optimization, preclinical development. We collaborate with customers and provide support for consulting, build, customizations, and other larger pursuits of the customers.

Location: Toronto, CA

Day-To-Day Responsibilities:

• Understanding of the site local network architecture and relation to global networking
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP networks, routing and firewalls
• Understanding of the Sanofi SCADALAN concepts
• Average understanding of Windows Client administration
• Basic understanding of Linux Client administration
• Understanding different lab instruments used in Pharma factory\xe2\x80\x99s and laboratories. Willingness to read a manual to understand connectivity options for a given Lab instrument.
• Learn process, services, work environment in a pharmaceutical company
• Deep knowledge on different equipment\xe2\x80\x99s (physical balance, spectrophotometers, fermenters) and each connectivity
• Expertise in OneLab suite of applications
• Building knowledge on heavy complex instrument
• Timeseries: being able to learn to use kepware, SAP PCo and SAP Mii
• Manages device connectivity, work on sensors and software updates to keep the technology upgraded and work on connectivity and data management.
• Connect seamlessly to other systems.
• Firm understanding of Equipment security.

Key Qualifications:

• 5-6 years of Experience in ELN or any other Biovia product.
• Masters in Biotech/Biomedical Engineering
• Pharma lab instruments knowledge
• Equipment connection expertise
• Hands on experince in Biovia One Lab Suite (Preferable)
