Equipment Assistant
Job Description
Rescue Canada is the #1 safety and rescue training agency in Canada. We provide performance based training in Swiftwater, Ice, Rope, Helicopter, Boat/Raft, and Winter technical environments. As a quickly growing business in training, equipment rentals and sales, we require filling a part-time position with our highly organized team as soon as possible. This is a growth position and we see the successful candidate being able to transition into supporting the team in other areas with full time possibilities. As the equipment assistant, you would help the equipment manager by doing the following tasks,
Ship out rental gear
Receive rental gear shipments
Pack and size rental gear for customers and accessories
Clean, organize, and put away gear after courses
Collect information from clients over the phone regarding rental equipment
Clean and maintain course equipment
Keep warehouse space organized and tidy
Minor mechanical maintenance on mobile equipment
Limited administrative tasks and assistance to staff members
Some data entry
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 24 per week
