What can you expect in this role?

• Manages a portfolio in accordance with guidelines and approved rating models, ensuring best practice is always maintained
• Negotiates terms, conditions and premium for new and renewal accounts within individual assigned portfolio and authority level
• Provide pipeline for new business
• Build strong relationships and drive profitable growth with key brokers and clients
• Build strong relationships within the Commercial Lines team
• Provide technical mentorship and review accounts with regional underwriters
• Provide input and assist in product development
• Participate in industry events

What do you bring to the role?

• University degree
• 4+ years of Miscellaneous E&O or Technology E&O underwriting experience
• Technical knowledge of policy wordings and contracts
• Innovative mindset to deliver tailored solutions
• Strong focus on customer service
• Excellent research skills
• Committed team player who will engage in constructive discussion and provide constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement
