Horizon Health Network in beautiful New Brunswick is looking for Environmental Services Workers join our team in Miramichi! These are CASUAL positions. Horizon Health Network (Horizon) is actively recruiting Environmental Services Workers to join the team in at the Miramichi Regional Hospital. As an Environmental Services Worker, you would be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe health care environment. Specific duties include:

• Cleaning patient rooms and designated areas including floor surfaces, fixtures, furniture, equipment, and washrooms
• Disinfecting and cleaning rooms of discharged patients, including making beds
• Ordering, distributing, replenishing and stocking supplies and linens
• Washing, disinfecting, dry and wet mopping floors, and cleaning carpets
• Stripping, waxing, buffing, and refinishing floors
• Disposing of garbage, recyclables, bio-medical, and toxic waste
• Collecting soiled linens and folding and distributing clean linens

Who you are You possess a high school diploma, or a minimum of two years of directly related work experience. You have written and spoken competence in English.
