Job Description

CASUAL

The Environmental Attendant is responsible to ensure that standards of cleanliness are achieved and maintained on a consistent basis to provide the highest level of resident satisfaction, within established time limitations. The Environmental Attendant will perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of residents' suites, routine cleaning and scheduled maintenance cleaning of hallways, entrances and exits, window cleaning, vertical and horizontal surfaces as required. The Environmental Attendant should demonstrate constant awareness of safety hazards and report to the Environmental Services Manager for maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications:

Must be physically fit and in general good health with the ability to push, pull and lift a minimum of 25 lbs. and be able to be on your feet for long periods of time Effective written and oral communication skills in the English language Must be able to work in confined spaces Clear criminal record security clearance with Vulnerable Sector included (no more than 6 months old) Appropriately dressed Must be able to work independently, and as part of the interdisciplinary team
