Aqua-Check, Inc. is looking to hire a qualified Environment Services Assistant for a full-time, permanent position at the Aqua-Check Head Office in Halifax, NS.
You will be responsible for providing client relation services and general data entry for the Aqua-Check Head Office.
Key Responsibilities:
Client relations, including answering phone calls, communicating via email, and reporting water quality test results
Water quality appointment arrangements
Entering and archiving data
Updating databases and editing records
General office support duties as required
Position Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum 1+ years experience in a general office setting & data entry work
Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (MS Excel, Word, Outlook)
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Demonstration of excellent written and oral communication
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of data entry operations and office practices
All training is provided. Successful applicants will be provided with complimentary WHMIS and OHS training, as well as water quality training courses.
Criminal Record/Vulnerable Sectors Check and Child Abuse Registry will be required of the successful applicant. The costs of these checks will be reimbursed by Aqua-Check.
