Job Description


As a Project Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in interfacing with clients and staff to manage and report on environmental services associated with downstream oil & gas and other markets throughout British Columbia. Reporting directly to the District Manager, you will contribute to the setup, maintenance, and reporting of these services while cultivating strong client relationships that prioritize top-quality service across a range of environmental programs.

You will bring more than 5+ years of relevant environmental consulting experience related to characterization and remediation in BC. This role is permanent and will require some travel for field-based projects.

What would you be doing?

  • Coordinate projects under a Senior Project Manager and Program Manager and mentoring of junior/ intermediate field personnel.
  • Assisting with technical guidance for assessment and remediation projects including Stage 1 and 2 Preliminary Site Assessments, remediation, soil and groundwater treatment, soil, groundwater and soil vapor monitoring.
  • Assist with cost tracking, and reporting.
  • Implement company and client safety programs.
  • Ensure that project requirements are met in a timely and effective manner.
Does this sound like you?
  • Technical Diploma or University Degree in environmental science or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of relevant environmental consulting experience related to characterization and remediation in BC.
  • Exceptional teamwork, collaboration, verbal, and written communication skills."
  • Proficiency in planning and control of work in a multi-project, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to develop meaningful working relationships with individuals from a variety of different backgrounds and in different geographies.
  • Able to prioritize work, multi-task and adapt to changing priorities in a fast paced team environment.
  • Proactive approach to problem solving with a strong ability to take initiative.
  • Working knowledge of the BC Contaminated Site Regulation.
  • Must possess or be eligible for professional designation.
  • Must possess a valid Class 5 Drivers License.
