This position is responsible for the development, implementation and on-going assessment of the site\'s safety, health, environmental, and property preservation system. The position is responsible for ensuring that the site\'s EHS system meets the objective\'s of Sherwin-Williams\' Corporate and Divisional policies, procedures, and guidelines. This individual works with the site management team to create a culture which emphasizes employee engagement, is built upon the 5 focus areas of Operational Excellence and SW Cares, such that all team members embody safety as a core value of the operation.

Major Tasks Performed:

• Develops site-specific safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
• Coordinates all site EHS training.
• Develops awareness initiatives that reinforce SW Cares and encourage employee involvement.
• Develops and conducts new employee orientation for all applicable EHS topics.
• Compiles, calculates, and submits site safety statistics.
• Acts as liaison between site and all EHS Divisional and Corporate support.
• Acts as liaison between the site and all Federal, Provincial, and Local enforcement agencies.
• Performs inspections, investigations and analyses to minimize the potential for accidental losses or environmental releases.
• Obtain and Maintain ISO 45001 Certification
• Participation towards completion of other related tasks and duties as directed or needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country for which you are applying for employment without now or in the future needing sponsorship for employment visa status
• Bachelor\'s degree or at least 4 years of related work experience
• Must have at least three (3) years of Environmental, Health, and Safety experience
• Must have experience with or understanding of OSHA and EPA requirements?

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Degree with a major in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or Business
• Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
• Experience with the Voluntary Protection Program (VPP)
